NSS & YRC

National Service Scheme

Education through Service is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. The motto of National Service Scheme is NOT MEBUT YOU A NSS volunteer who takes part in the community service programme would either be a college level or a senior secondary level student. Being an active member these student volunteers would have the exposure and experience to be the following:

  • An accomplished social leader
  • An efficient administrator
  • A person who understands human nature

The National Integration Camp (NIC) is organized every year and the duration of each camp isof 7 days with day-night boarding & lodging. In our College we have two units each for boysand girls with two NSS Programme officers.

YOUTH RED CROSS

The motto of Youth Red Cross (YRC) is to serve To conduct social and health awareness programmes. Awareness on the care of their own health and that of others. To encourage the students to extend their humanitarian services to the society. To offer First Aid Training to all the YRC volunteers. Youth Red Cross has the following three principles: Protection of Health Life. Service to the Sick & Suffering. Promotion of National & International Friendship, to develop the mental and moral capacities of the youth.
